McMurdo Station is officially closed for the winter! We are now stuck here until at least August. Although people are already making bets about a med-evac! Kind of a strange feeling. Last sunset April 24th. First sunrise August 19th.

This photo is more symbolic than anything to look at, it shows that last flight leaving.
