| When I gave
my mother a new camera last summer I never imagined that she would
be taking photos like this with it. To avoid the toxic smoke, she
and my father have been walking around Lower-Manhattan, waiting
for the wind to shift. Her photos depict an outpouring of solidarity.
It assures us that we will heal, that what truly makes New York
City great, its human spirit, is invincible. |
